[NAME] Joseph 'Jesse' Tyler Carnell
[AGE] 16, almost 17.

[HEIGHT] 5"10
[PERSONALITY] Jesse is a quirky teen. He likes to read books and do strangely artistic projects, as well as photography. Often, he finds himself watching old TV shows like 'Twin Peaks', and loves to watch crime shows. From a young age, he loved reading, and has devoured text books like they're waffles (his favorite food). If he can, he would be bundled up in a coat and a scarf with a beanie on his head, in the middle of a cold day sitting in a crowded square. He can seem oddly nerdy to some, but he doesn't care, because he knows that he is just well-read. Jesse can be strangely hyper at times, but other times is a moody, snappy teenager. He has horrible handwriting which changes very quickly and erratically, and often is illegible. He can be very pessimistic, and often points out what could go wrong, but it also means that he is well-prepared for many different situations. He likes to keep himself busy, and often spreads out work just to make it chaotic. He thrives in chaos, strangely, and finds silence irritating. His pair of earbuds are stuck in his pocket at all times, along with his iPhone, downloaded with all of his favorite music and camera apps. Jesse has an obsession with documentaries and text books, and often listens to a documentary on his phone, or highlighting paragraphs in text books. In fact, he actually has a whole collection of old, tatty text books, all stacked up near his large metal desk that's covered in Sharpie. He has an Apple laptop with a plain black case, and he keeps it in a leather satchel if he needs it. If not, the leather messenger bag is full of pens, a camera, a pack of tissues, a wallet, and some other random crap. As well, Jesse loves to read History books, and has a knack for remembering facts and figures. It is a talent that does not come in handy very often, except with quizzes, and the occasional History test. He is not sure what he wants to do with his future, but would like to do something that includes English, Psychology and History, but has not found any careers that really use all three of those subjects. One of his favorite subjects is Math, because everything has a definite answer, but he also enjoys Chemistry, because it helps him to look at the world in a different way. He has an intolerance towards those that ask stupid questions or with a strange drawl that they drag out every syllable like, 'Jessseeeeeeeee', which gets on his nerves and makes him angry. Every emotion that he does not conceal, mainly intolerance, anger or irritability, are very obvious if one is looking for it. Sadness is not so easily seen by those around him, and even those close to him can not always tell.
[PHYSICAL FEATURES] Being nearly 17, Jesse still has some time to grow, and his doctor estimates that he'll grow to be about 6ft. He has a lean frame with long legs, and it gives him large strides that swallow up the ground. According to his friends, whenever he walks, it always looks like he's storming around, because he walks to quickly and efficiently, so most people get out of his way. Jesse doesn't care though, since it means that he gets places quickly. He says that when he walks, he has a reason, so it means that he should get there quickly. His favorite outfit would be grey or black pants that can't be classified as skinny, but certainly are not baggy. Along with that, he likes cartoon shirts or sarcastic retorts printed on shirts, paired with an open button-up shirt that is often a green or blue color. He likes scarves, too. Grey scarves, or any solid colors, he would gladly wear, but only in the cold weather, as well as a nice dark green, navy, or black coat unzipped or zipped. As well, his shoes are often a pair of sneakers or boat shoes, and hats. Hats are awesome, in his opinion. Beanies, too. He can often be seen with a brown leather messenger bag, full of a spiralled notebook, a few pens, his cheap camera, his phone and his wallet. His sense of style is not for everyone, and it would not suite everyone, but it suites him very well, and looks awesome. Occasionally, he has to wear glasses (so hipster), but he prefers contact lenses since they don't fog up when it gets cold.
[HISTORY] Jesse was born in New York City, the youngest child of Henry and Harriet Carnell, two successful lawyers. Only his father was a shifter, but all three children inherited his abilities, and their mother was a normal human that didn't care about their father's shifting. He was raised in a small New York apartment in the middle of the city with his two older siblings, Alex and Lucia, and had a very free-range childhood. He was free to wander as he pleased, as long as he told someone where he was going, and he had his cell phone on him. He was happy, until he was almost 11 years old, and his parents were killed in a collapsed building- a structural malfunction in their office. After their funerals, they were sent to live in Mountain Peaks with their Uncle Zack, their paternal uncle, about 20-30 minutes outside of New York City. He thinks it's nice there, and Uncle Zack is happy, but Zack is now a semi-retired member of the Libertus Pack.
